The vision behind Grace Academy 21 was to take the 30-year history of Grace Academy and supplement it with 21st Century learning. At the very of heart of his philosophy is Stephen Covey’s first habit of “…Highly Effective People”…”begin with the end in mind”. Why do we send our children to school? To learn? To be educated? To learn about God? To get a high school diploma? To get a college diploma? To ultimately get a job? A career?  The answers to these questions and the science behind “how” and “why” students learn is what drives decisions at Grace Academy.

Christian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida and Master’s of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Christian is married to his wife, Morgan Champion, who serves as the Assistant Principal at Grace and School Counselor, and has three children who attend(ed) Grace Academy: Caleb David (2013 Graduate), Amelia Grace (8th), and Abigayle (Abby) Faith (5th).

Two of Christian’s favorite quotes offer insight into his beliefs and convictions:

“You see things; and you say “Why?” But I dream things that never were; and I say “Why not?” George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)

“Begin with the end in mind.” Stephen Covey (2nd Habit of Highly Effective People)
