Christian Dickinson

Christian Dickinson is the Executive Director of Grace Academy. He is responsible for the the daily operations of the school.  As a leader and administrator in both traditional and virtual education, Christian Dickinson holds a wealth of knowledge and familiarity related to collecting and analyzing data. His vast history of leadership experience makes his background not only unique, but well-rounded. Throughout his career in education, Christian has participated in the corporate world in the areas of IT management, Internet marketing and sales, and online course development.

A previous high school Principal, Assistant Principal, IT Administrator, Dean of Students, mathematics and science teacher, and athletic coach, Christian’s roots are firmly planted in the educational sector. His concerted efforts involving virtual education were paramount in the development of online education programs in an array of school districts across the State of Florida. Offering perspective from each of his past roles, Christian understands and values the importance of using data to improve student achievement and workplace readiness.

A former and current President and CEO, Christian launched and successfully grew several DOT COM companies. As far back as 1998, Christian foresaw the significant impact the Internet would have on commerce, education, and change how people would work. Seventeen years later, he continues to maintain a prominent presence on the Internet and promotes digital tools in the workplace and classroom across the country.

The vision behind Grace Academy 21 was to take the 30-year history of Grace Academy and supplement it with 21st Century learning. At the very of heart of his philosophy is Stephen Covey’s first habit of “…Highly Effective People”…”begin with the end in mind”. Why do we send our children to school? To learn? To be educated? To learn about God? To get a high school diploma? To get a college diploma? To ultimately get a job? A career?  The answers to these questions and the science behind “how” and “why” students learn is what drives decisions at Grace Academy.

Christian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida and Master’s of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Christian is married to his wife, Morgan Champion, who serves as the Assistant Principal at Grace and School Counselor, and has three children who attend(ed) Grace Academy: Caleb David (2013 Graduate), Amelia Grace (8th), and Abigayle (Abby) Faith (5th).

Two of Christian’s favorite quotes offer insight into his beliefs and convictions:

“You see things; and you say “Why?” But I dream things that never were; and I say “Why not?” George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)

“Begin with the end in mind.” Stephen Covey (2nd Habit of Highly Effective People)
